Hey guys! Happy Wednesday! I hope y'all are having a fabulous summer so far!
Today I am telling you about how to make some super cute, super cheap decorative stands (like cake stands, but smaller :-p).

First off I picked up some adorable plastic plates. I actually found these at A.C.

Moore, a craft store here in NC. I thought these were so cute, they actually inspired the idea... And they were on sale for $1 a piece at the time! I also picked up some spray paint here because they always have a 55% off coupon so I was able to get a can for about $4! I got the ultra matte kind because I feel like it covers just as well (if not better!) as chalk paint, and is a little cheaper! Also I like that it is both the primer and the paint!

Then I headed over to Dollar Tree and picked up these candle holders for the stand... they have so many different kinds, it was hard to choose. You could also get different height ones so there would be a bigger difference in height. I also got some ribbon, a cute little candle and some flowers (for a total of $6!)

Then I went home to spray paint my candle holders! Of course I happened to pick a windy day so you can see all my random items trying to secure my tarp! lol.

When they were dry... okay, to be honest, not until a few days later... lol, I busted out the glue gun to attach the plates to the candle holders! Sorry, I forgot to take a pic of this step, but I think y'all know what that looks like! I also added a bow to the middle one (I tied it on instead of gluing it so I could easily remove it if I decided to)!
You can use them for so many things! Decorative pieces with flowers and candles,

For snacks... cupcakes, muffins etc! Or like I did in this one, for k cups!

Okay, seeing my coffee setup in this picture, I definitely need to put a runner back on it! lol.
I put the other two on my breakfast bar for now... gotta love my crazy husband... lol.

And there ya have it! Super simple, super cheap, super cute!
Let me know if y'all make a set! They would be great for a fourth of July celebration snack display!
Also, let me know if you have any blog topics you would love to hear about!
Until next week! :)
