Trick-Or-Treating Back When

So yesterday I am sitting in Barnes and Noble, doing some work and minding my own business (Okay.. so maybe not totally minding my own business lol) when I overhear these two older men (probably in their 80s), talking about what Halloween was like when they were kids. I couldn't help but listen in a little after that. They talked about how they used to use pillow cases to collect candy. One of them lived in an apartment complex so there were lots of doors to knock on. The other lived in the country and didn't have a house for miles to go to, so things were a lot different for him!

All I could think was how cool it would be to go back in time and

see what Halloween was like... The costumes, the candy, the festivities! How different things are today! I would love for any one reading this to share their Halloween experiences!! I know my sister and I always enjoyed getting dressed up (usually as a vampire or clown lol) and going door to door with my parents! It's so funny that the decorations we had around the house when I was a kid are now things considered "vintage" that are hard to find!
